If your mushrooms are dried you will need to soak them in water for at least 15 minutes. Soak them longer if you want them soft.
When the mushrooms become soft you can start. This dish is ready in under 5 minutes. If you want to have it with rice, pre cook the rice and then just throw this on top.
You will need:
Mushrooms (of your choice)
Ground black pepper / lemon pepper
Ground garlic (approx 4 cloves)
Salt and Seasoning
For one portion, melt a tablespoon or two of butter in a frying pan. Add garlic to the butter and then add onions.
Add mushrooms and any herbs and spices you wish to add. I added this great all round seasoning from Badia.
Throw in the mushrooms, add salt, pepper and seasonings and voila!
It tastes great and is super low in calories. Serve with pita bread, brown toast, or on a bed of rice.
